Our mission
Great games shouldn't need a screen. We make games for your ears.
Hear Out Games makes audio-first games: stories, mysteries, quizzes and adventures that are told to you out loud, and that you play by answering with your voice. If a game is built to be heard, anyone who can listen can play it. That's where we start.
So we design for blind and partially sighted players first, and for everyone else as well. The game speaks, and the screen shows the same words as they're said. Nothing you need is hidden in a picture, nothing is shown by colour alone, and the games are built to work with the screen reader you already use.

Audio first
Every game is told to you with voices, music and sound. The screen shows the same words, so you can listen, read along, or both.

Play your way
Answer out loud, type, or tap a quick reply. One big button always does the next sensible thing: skip, talk, stop listening or carry on.

Easy to see
Text with at least 7:1 contrast that grows to 200% and beyond, bold text, and our own text size and voice speed settings.

No surprises
The microphone opens with a sound and a buzz, never out of nowhere. No ads, no account, and the games play offline.
We're testing the apps with VoiceOver and TalkBack on real phones, with blind and partially sighted players. Our accessibility statement says where we are, and how to tell us what gets in your way.
